Overview:

The Corporate Manager, Data Engineering for Six Flags Entertainment Corporation will manage the team responsible for corporate level enterprise data consolidation and data integrity.  In addition the will be responsible for enterprise application data transformation into reporting deliverables.

This individual will manage both Data Engineers and Data Developers to meet the organization needs. Creating and leading data projects involving
data collection, storage, and analysis. Hiring, mentoring, and support data engineers and data developers. Selecting tools and
data architecture to meet the organizations data needs.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage Data Engineers’ and Data Developers’ – include daily direction, hiring, and mentoring.
  • Work with business users and stakeholders to manage data projects.
  • Manage data environments throughout enterprise. This includes oversight for all data integrations and Business Intelligence
    Division data delivery.
  • Oversee data governance and validation between source application and centralized data store.
  • Manage existing data tools and research future tools to insure data enterprise future stability.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required- Information Technology, Data engineering
  •  
  • Preferred: Master's degree 
  •  
  • Must have experience in team leadership. 
  •  
  • 5 or more years of data architecting (ETL & ELT) .net application development experience (c#). 5+ years of SQL Server or other
    relational data application. Experience with cloud data lake and data delivery models. Expert in TSQL & ansi SQL. Like to have
    knowledge in data Machine Learning and data related AI tools.
