Role Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated Construction Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient construction site. This role requires experience in construction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to use our construction management software, Builder Trend.

Responsibilities:

  • Accept and unload deliveries of materials and equipment, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper storage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the construction site, including debris removal, sweeping, and general tidying.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment for all personnel.
  • Assist with minor punch list items and perform handyman tasks as needed to support project completion.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate activities and optimize workflow.
  • Utilize Builder Trend software to track project progress, update task statuses, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines, prioritizing tasks to meet objectives efficiently.
  • Demonstrate reliability by consistently attending work on time and maintaining a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is necessary, with a strong understanding of construction practices and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software, preferably Builder Trend, to track project activities and communicate with team members.
  • Possession of working papers and reliable transportation to and from the job site is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety guidelines and regulations.
