We view professional development as a strategic investment in our future.Your RoleAs a Mid-Level Gensler Designer, you will combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills to produce purposeful, functional, and beautiful spaces for our clients. You should have exceptional design skills, a background in architecture with a focus on Interiors or Interior Design, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. You must be an integral part of your team and actively foster a respectful, creative, and inspiring design environment. You should have a strong reputation in the design community.What You Will DoPerform interior design assignments that include interpreting client needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentationWork with independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and modifying standard techniques and proceduresParticipate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lightingGenerate design with 3D models, Revit, SketchUp or other software; create digital 3D views to communicate design conceptsProduce interior finishes and reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections for constructionProvide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design conceptsCollaborate with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricatorsGuide and mentor junior designersCollaborate with other design and professional staffContribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programsYour QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design or architecture6+ years of design leadership of interior design and/or architecture projects; recent workplace, education and/or healthcare project experience is requiredLEED accreditation or WELL AP is preferredExperience delivering highly sustainable design solutionsStrong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsProficiency in Revit and other computer design programsMust have a portfolio of workplace interior projects showing a range of projectsThe base salary will be estimated between $95,000 – $115,000 plus bonuses and benefits and is contingent on relevant experienceSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Project Management, Art/Creative, and DesignIndustries: Architecture and Planning and Design Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
