What You Will Be Doing Guiding students to establish and reach individual learning objectives, cultivating self-directed learning capabilities. Delivering focused instruction in social-emotional development and core literacy skills, working alongside Reading Specialists. Creating classroom environments that promote curiosity and persistence through hands-on, interactive learning activities. Implementing AI-powered educational tools to improve learning outcomes and prepare students for technology-integrated education. Working alongside educators and counselors to address each student’s distinct learning requirements and preferences. What You Won’t Be Doing Teaching exclusively through conventional methods without incorporating advanced educational technology. Applying uniform instructional approaches—personalized learning is fundamental to our model. Prioritizing academic content while neglecting social and emotional development. Reading Interventionist Key Responsibilities Lead the cultivation of independent learning capabilities and essential life skills for Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, establishing foundations for long-term academic achievement and personal development. Basic Requirements Available to work onsite at one of our locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational, afterschool, athletics, or comparable environments. Demonstrated capability to apply growth mindset principles and high-performance coaching techniques effectively. Eager to utilize AI and emerging technologies in classroom settings. Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Nice-to-have Requirements These qualifications strengthen your candidacy, but meeting the requirements above is sufficient to apply: Academic credentials or certification in early childhood education, child development, reading intervention, or related disciplines. Professional certifications or specialized training in early learning approaches including CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia. Background as a K-2 classroom teacher, reading coach, or literacy specialist with formal preparation or professional development in phonics and reading instruction frameworks. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
