Description

EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures, and materials, and aligning workpieces.
  • Operate CNC machines to execute programmed machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding.
  • Maintain high-quality standards during manufacturing processes, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and ensure precision and accuracy in all produced parts.
  • Assist in general maintenance tasks, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and address minor repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in various tasks to meet production demands.
  • Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures to create a secure work environment. Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
  • Provide input and suggestions for process improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in operating and maintaining CNC machines is preferred.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards and identify potential defects.
  • Strong commitment to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, take on diverse tasks, and adapt to changing production demands.
  • Basic mechanical skills, including familiarity with hand tools and machinery operation.
