Direct message the job poster from OpTech OpTech has a highly respected client seeking to hire an experienced Probate Legal Specialist Location: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan Salary range: Up to $77,000 with excellent employee benefits RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and court filings; Maintain calendars and case files; scheduling meetings; and submitting accurate timekeeping data. Litigation filings for probate matters - Taxation and Estate Proactively anticipating the needs of the attorneys and practice group. All work is performed in accordance with established firm procedures and with a commitment to exceptional client service. Ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of an attorney. Communicate frequently with the clients in order to serve them adequately. Conduct necessary case research to aid the legal proceedings. QUALIFICATIONS Organizational skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, organize documents, and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and court staff. Technical proficiency: Strong computer skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other legal software. Legal knowledge: Familiarity with probate laws, procedures, litigation filings and legal terminology. Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive client information with the utmost discretion.
