You will collaborate with the Regeneron Genetics Center and the broader Regeneron community to develop and apply innovative translational genetics approaches for therapeutic target discovery. Responsibilities Apply human genetics to target discovery, select indications for drug programs, and identify subgroups of patients who are more likely to respond to treatment through genetic analyses. Experience leading complex human genetics research endeavors, with knowledge of GWAS, exome, genome sequencing, cohort, case‑control, and family‑based studies, and the ability to integrate diverse data resources. Interest in the genetic basis of neurological, psychiatric, ophthalmological, and age‑related diseases, with prior experience in related phenotypes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present results to audiences ranging from scientists to executives. PhD or MD/PhD with a strong background in human genetics or genetic epidemiology. Preferred: 7+ years of translational human genetics experience and strong quantitative skills (Python, R, etc.). To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a PhD or MD/PhD with a strong background in human genetics or genetic epidemiology. Candidates will bring advanced knowledge in statistical genetics, experience with polygenic risk scores, Mendelian randomization, and bioinformatics pipelines, and familiarity with large‑scale datasets such as UKB, FinnGen, or AllOfUs.
