Role Purpose The Product Owner is responsible for defining and delivering the product strategy. While the long-term ownership of the product’s direction will sit with this role, the initial vision and roadmap will be shaped collaboratively with our client to ensure alignment from day one. The Product Owner leads the full cross‑functional team and serves as the primary point of contact for the client throughout development. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap. Work collaboratively at the outset with the client to align on overall vision, priorities, and key milestones. Translate strategy into clear epics, features, and user stories. Own, organize and maintain Jira as the single source of truth for the roadmap. Execution & Agile Leadership Lead the cross‑functional development team (BA, SM, UX/UI, App, API, QA). Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and direction for the team. Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the main point of contact for the client. Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly and consistently. Ensure all product decisions balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. User Experience & Quality Work closely with UX/UI to deliver intuitive experiences tailored our goals. Define acceptance criteria and validate features before release. Champion a high‑quality product experience across mobile and backend systems. Promote a documentation culture across all teams (Dev, BA, and UX/UI). Generate user flows as part of epic and user story documentation. Insights & Continuous Improvement Define KPIs and measure product performance. Use analytics, user feedback, and competitive insights to refine the product direction. Required Qualifications 3–7+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager. Experience building mobile products or social/streaming platforms. Strong Agile delivery experience. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Practical experience with AI tools and languages. Knowledge or passion for golf is a strong plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience in sports tech, youth sports, creator/social platforms, or live streaming. Located in Atlanta or able to travel occasionally.
