Job Description Director of Patient Financial Services, BOM: A hands-on director is needed for an Arizona hospital. This role has overall responsibility for billing, collections, A/R, A/P, and customer relations. The director will support and mentor staff, uphold the hospital’s vision of the Total Healing Environment, and embody values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment, and quality. Responsibilities include providing administrative leadership to the Business Office staff responsible for accurate information gathering, timely billing, and collections, as well as staff education and development. Note: Only candidates with general acute care experience as a Director or Manager should apply. Required Qualifications: College degree (BS or higher preferred). At least 5+ years of management experience in healthcare, including performance management, staff mentoring, and training. Extensive knowledge in hospital revenue cycle, billing, collections, or A/R management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems. Ad hoc reporting experience is a plus.
