Norman Regional Health System has established a reputation for delivering exceptional patient care. Our hospital system, situated in the Oklahoma City metro area, boasts an innovative cardiovascular program and is seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to contribute to its growth. We are poised to move into a new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team collaborates with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide comprehensive care. Prepares equipment before and during procedures. Assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care. Maintains a sterile environment. Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students. Participates in downtime tasks, such as stocking rooms and checking equipment. Fosters strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care. Requirements
Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months. Pass all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months. Education
Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification. Experience
Previous Procedural Area experience preferred. Certifications/Licenses/Registration
American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, with RCIS certification preferred. Basic Life Support training required during orientation and maintained throughout employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment. Compensation
