Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12-Hour Nights

Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) team in Temple, TX. As an RN in the LTAC setting, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical needs requiring extended hospitalization.

Key Responsibilities:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in accordance with LTAC standards and protocols.
Monitoring and managing patients with multiple comorbidities and complex medical conditions.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent work experience.
Current RN license in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term acute care (LTAC) setting preferred.
BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
