Must be able to communicate and take direction from Weddings/Special Events Sales Consultants and Design Operations team leaders. Ensure accurate preparation of product for weddings/special events. Be able to organize and keep track of the details of each order and client’s needs. Ensure customer satisfaction and represent Bachman’s brand in weddings/special events through product and set up/take down quality. Must be an exceptional communicator and work well with people. Be a liaison to customers to answer questions or relay information in a timely manner. Keeping up with the workload during seasonal periods. Be able to work quickly and efficiently Ensuring production supplies to fulfill orders, appointments, and customer satisfaction. To relieve Lead Sales and Sales Consultant /Designer IV of some of the data entry and daily maintenance tasks so that they can spend more time on sales. Make sure system transactions inputs are accurately and timely. Must meet or exceed the service needs of the customer. Attendance is an essential function of this position, and we rely on all our employees to be at work during their scheduled shift. Qualifications: · High School Diploma · At least 3 years of work experience in retail and/or weddings/special events business · Must be physically able to work on feet all day, frequently lift 30-50 lbs. · Use of ladder as needed for decorating, set ups, and take downs on ladders up to 10 ft tall. · Ability to learn new computer software. · Proficient in Microsoft office suite · Must have organizational skills to support efficiently and accurately daily, seasonal and holiday peaks. · Must be able to respond positively to stressful situations. · Possess creative skills and ability to understand appealing design aesthetics. · Knowledge of floral and plant product is helpful but not required. · Ability to work and communicate with multiple departments. · Must deal directly with customers in a professional manner. · Must learn product lines, event types and customer communication. · Excellent problem-solving skills. · Previous phone experience is helpful. · Willingness to take on special assignments during peak times. · Math skills: Ability to compute with or without a calculator. · Ability to read, write and communicate in English. · Valid Minnesota driver’s license Schedule: 8am–4pm Monday- Friday and every other Saturday with a weekday off . Variable based on seasonality and peak holidays, in peak seasonal and wedding times will need to work additional days and weekends.
