Locum Tenens Urologist Opportunity Near Minot, ND We are currently seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position near Minot, ND. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive urology services in both a clinic and call setting. Position Details Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Location: Near Minot, ND Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Shift Type: Day shifts with weekend call FTE: 1.0 Practice Setting: Both clinic and hospital Clinic Environment: The clinic is located within the hospital, ensuring close collaboration with other departments. Support Staff: 2 Registered Nurses (RNs), 1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities Clinic Duties: Manage an average of 1-3 patients daily; Perform 5 in-clinic procedures per day; Handle up to 30 scheduled patients daily. Call Duties: Provide weekend call coverage on a rotational basis; Respond to emergent surgical needs; Manage 1-3 stone cases as needed. Procedures: Perform TRUS biopsies of the prostate, conduct cystoscopies and dilation procedures. Surgeries: Primarily focus on emergent cases; Typically handle 4 scheduled surgeries on designated surgery days. Requirements Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology. State License: Active North Dakota state license required. EMR: Experience with EPIC is preferred. Experience: Proven ability to perform prostate biopsies with an RN; Proficiency in cystoscopy without an ultrasound tech on site. Additional Information Reason for Coverage: This coverage is needed due to the absence of a permanent provider on staff. Robotics: Robotics experience is not required for this position.
