The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Java FSE w/Angular or React to serve our diverse base of global clients. Location: Dallas, Texas Or Salt Lake City, Utah Work Authorization

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Roles Responsibilities:
  • Candidate will have to develop applications in Java, Springboot
  • Candidate will have to work with the product owners/business analysts to understand and analyze the requirement
  • Candidate will develop user interface screens using Javascript, Angular or React
  • Candidate should perform unit testing as per the client approved until testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, etc
  • Candidate should be able to participate in the design discussions along with the clients architects and business analysts
Required Qualifications:
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in developing applications in Java. SpringBoot
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of hands on experience in Javascript and Angular or React
  • Candidate should have good working experience in databases like Oracle, MongoDB,Cassandra, etc
  • working knowledge in CI/CD pipelines is a nice to have
  • Candidate should be able to work independently with the clients
  • Should possess good communication skills
Applications will be accepted until 9/30/2024 Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $102,600K – $187,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
