The position is a 4/4 teaching load split between teaching Principles courses, Money and Financial Markets, and Introductory Econometrics. In addition to the listed courses, content areas of particular interest include regional economic development, labor, sports, or environmental. Candidates may have the opportunity to teach in the MBA program and may be asked to teach at branch campuses in the surrounding communities of Wausau and Marshfield. Strong candidates will have a demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level and conduct scholarly research. Although we are a teaching-oriented department, scholarly activity, professional growth, and university service are required.## **Key Job Responsibilities:**## **Department:**Sentry School of Business and Economics## **Compensation:**Commensurate with qualifications and experience## **Required Qualifications:*** Earned doctorate (PhD, DBA, etc.) in Economics or in a related field, or ABD with doctorate completed within one year, from an AACSB or equivalently accredited college or university, or other high-quality institution.## **Preferred Qualifications:*** Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level, particularly Principles of Macroeconomics, Money and Financial Markets, and Introductory Econometrics.* Demonstrated ability to conduct scholarly research.* Teaching or research experience in the fields of regional economic development, labor, sports, international, or environmental.* Relevant professional experience.## ## **How to Apply:****TO ENSURE CONSIDERATION: Applications received by 11/16/2025 are ensured full consideration.** Applications received after that date may be given consideration at the discretion of the search committee.
