Automation Technician III As an Automation Technician III at Niagara Bottling, you will work on the production floor with plant Automation technicians at Niagara facilities around the country. Your tasks include performing advanced troubleshooting and upgrades on production line automation systems, and providing technical support to those plants. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring the plant Automation technicians. Essential Functions Providing Plant Support for Niagara Facilities Provide aid and expertise to plant maintenance and automation teams Aid in repairs on production machinery as needed Troubleshoot and repair complex machine electrical issues Automated Upgrades Perform root cause analysis for automated machine upgrades Research and develop innovative technologies to increase output and reduce labor Technician Training Share knowledge with plant electrical and automation technicians Seek out training opportunities for team development and report to Technical Engineering Manager Travel Requirements: Approximately 75% of the year Note: This job description is not exhaustive; duties may change at any time. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 4 years of experience in the field or similar manufacturing environment 4 years of experience in the position 0-1 years managing people/projects Experience may include a combination of work experience and education. Preferred Qualifications: 6 years of experience in the field or similar manufacturing environment 6 years of experience in the position 2 years managing people/projects Experience may include a combination of work experience and education. Competencies Proficiency in AB Automation, Siemens Automation, B&R troubleshooting, and Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently and with others, often with minimal supervision Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with initiative Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment Ability to work effectively with diverse teams Education Minimum: Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field Certification/License Required: N/A Preferred: N/A Foreign Language Required: None Preferred: None Compensation Range Hourly: $28.19 - $40.88 Benefits https://careers.niagarawater.com/us/en/benefits *Note: Los Angeles County applicants only.
