Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize patient medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist healthcare providers in retrieving and managing medical records as needed.
- Update and enter data into electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct audits of records for accuracy and compliance.
- Respond to requests for medical records from authorized personnel.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health information management is a plus.
- Previous experience in medical records management or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
