We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our branch. The primary responsibility of the General Manager is to enhance operational efficiency and increase profitability while managing overall branch operations. This position will report directly to the Regional Vice President of Operations.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assume full operational responsibility and oversee daily branch operations.
  • Drive financial performance (sales and EBITDA), operational metrics, and quality standards to meet performance targets.
  • Maintain and execute daily, weekly, and long-term work plans to achieve measurable outcomes and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Implement change management strategies to optimize workflow and operating procedures, enhancing branch performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare business forecasts, budgets, and reports; conduct financial analyses to identify trends and potential problem areas, taking immediate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of competitors and develop innovations to maintain market leadership while sharing best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls, both internal and external, including state licensing laws and regulations.
  • Support and administer established company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop a unified team within the branch; set high standards and lead with clarity and purpose.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, accident-free, and healthy work environment.
  • Uphold the organization's values, mission, and culture by fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful working environment.
  • Collaborate with marketing, accounting, human resources, and other service center members.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience leading a fast-paced service organization, with a proven track record of business growth; experience in residential HVAC is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and adjust responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, executive presence, and ethical standards.
  • Self-starter with the ability to motivate a team towards common goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Proficient in analyzing cost and forecast data to ensure alignment with branch goals and objectives.
  • Excellent analytical skills, financial acumen, and attention to detail.
