Job SummaryWorks in collaboration with the surgeon and RN to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Assists with orientation of all surgical techs in the perioperative area. Assists with the implementation of OR policies and procedures. Facilitates safe and effective completion of surgical procedures. Plans and implements direct and indirect care to patients of all ages in the Operating Room. Prepares and maintains aseptic surgical field, assists with procedures performed in surgery, functions in a scrub role and as part of the OR team.
