**Job Description:**

* Utilize mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical orders to assemble equipment.

* Use pneumatic schematics and piping diagrams to plumb machinery.

* Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates.

* Basic knowledge of electronics (AC, DC, Transistor theory)

* Ability to troubleshoot electronics and motion systems; test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as electronic voltmeters, and bridges.

* Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to drawing specifications, using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc).

* Inspect and test parts for surface defects, non-conformities, and abnormalities prior to electro-mechanical assembly.

**Education and Experience:**

3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

Minimal time will be spent standing, talking, walking and hearing, some time will be spent sitting and lots of time will be spent using hands to finger, feel and handle. Lots of time will be spent lifting weight up to 10 lbs, and minimal time will be spent lifting up to 50 lbs. Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).

**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

Minimal time will be spent working near moving mechanical parts, and with risk of electrical shock. The noise level is expected to be moderate, but at times can be loud due to air compressors.
