The candidate must be able to perform business analysis, testing, and production support. The ideal candidate can work independently and collaboratively and is interested in supporting an important government mission.Clearance: Ability to obtain the required government Public Trust security clearanceStatus: This is a hybrid position in Washington, D.C.What You'll Be DoingWork as an active member of an Agile development team, participate in all Agile ceremonies, update Jira tasks daily, and contribute to continuous improvement processes.Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement secure solutions that meet the client’s needs and efficiently utilize system resources.Assist other developers in building and maintaining Non-Production environments and the CI/CD pipeline.Troubleshoot complex issues in Production and Non-Production environments, while providing Production Tier III support.Learn new technical skills as needed to support the program.Analyze, design, and test solutions to meet client needs, and rotate with team members to provide Tier III support to customers.Interact with clients experiencing issues with the system and answer questions.Help design, document, and maintain system troubleshooting processes; update and enhance the issue knowledge base.Assist with the compilation of monthly system metric reports and maintain the organization of the Confluence collaborative site.Perform quality assurance and review the work of peers; identify and communicate areas for improvement in the application, customer business processes, and internal team operations.Required Education, Skills and Experience3+ years of BA experience (including 1 year of testing), or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing skillsCritical thinking skills – clearly define a problem or need, objectively analyze data, and use logical reasoning to draw well-supported conclusions/solutionsAbility to document a process flow, understand the business process with the client, and implement it into an applicationAbility to assess application functionality, create test cases, perform testing, and document test resultsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyStrong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and professionalismTeam player who can take initiative, but can work independently and follow directions as neededSolid organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentDesire to learn new skills, including self-studyPreferred Skills and ExperienceFamiliarity with Lean principles, SAFe, and Kanban or other Agile methodologies besides ScrumExperience supporting a Federal Government clientExperience with an automated testing toolExperience in undergoing Security Audits and writing Security SOPs, and knowledge of/compliance with NIST controlsICE cleared or any other current DHS clearanceOur estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
