Join the dynamic team at the Courtyard by Marriott Charleston River View, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bistro Attendant.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Order Taking: Efficiently and accurately take customer orders, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the menu items and making recommendations as needed.
  • Starbucks Beverage Preparation: Prepare a variety of Starbucks beverages to the highest standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of light meals and snacks in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
  • Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately and efficiently, handle cash transactions, and provide correct change.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bistro area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, fellow attendants, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.


Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
Strong customer service skills and excellent communication abilities.
Familiarity with Starbucks beverage preparation is a plus.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Schedule: This is a part-time or full-time position with flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings.
