Murex Trading Consultant (Front Office) – Upskills Upskills provides expert financial software consulting for investment banks and leading financial institutions across Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Europe. With profound expertise spanning cash and derivatives markets, we deliver smart, business‑wise, and efficient solutions. Overview We are seeking a highly‑motivated Murex Front Office Trading Consultant based in New York. The role involves supporting front‑office trading systems for our cash equity trading desk and driving client‑global system implementations. Responsibilities Analyze business processes and functional requirements, performing gap analysis between existing solutions and required functionalities, and produce user‑requirements documentation. Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement enhancements to the trading systems. Work with users to test, secure sign‑off (UAT), and transition systems toward go‑live. Provide day‑to‑day support to front‑office traders, addressing queries and issues related to the trading systems. Requirements Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree – Quantitative Finance, Applied Finance, Business Analysis, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. Experience with Murex Front Office (Pricing, Simulation, Pre‑trade). Profound knowledge and functional experience with at least two asset classes (e.g., FX, Money Market, FIX, Interest‑Rate Derivatives). Experience implementing or supporting a front‑office system within a bank. Strong teamwork orientation with a focus on delivering high‑quality service to clients. Excellent interpersonal skills, prioritization, and business expectation management. Demonstrable problem‑solving and analytical skills.
