Responsibilities Plan and schedule housekeeping and laundry work, including relief coverage for staff. Interview, hire, orient, and evaluate staff performance. Order and requisition supplies through the approved process. Plan and control the budget for housekeeping and laundry departments. Ensure compliance with legal, safety, health, fire, and sanitation codes, including familiarity with fire and disaster plans and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Qualifications High‑school degree or equivalent with supervisory experience in housekeeping/laundry. Proficient reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of the English language to ensure patient and visitor safety.
