Responsibilities and Duties: Licensed caregivers (HHAs/PCAs) will provide the following types of services to our clients:Assisting with ADLs and IADLsAmbulationBathingPersonal hygieneContinence / toiletingDressing / shaving Eating / feedingTransferringPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointmentsPerforms housekeeping activities including, but are not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom Performs client-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse includes, but are not limited to: Medication remindersAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercisesMeasuring and preparing special dietsUnderstanding dementia careIncontinence careQualifications and Skills:HHA / PCA certification High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferredExperience as a caregiver preferred, but not required; experience can be in personal homes or facilitiesThe ability to read, write, speak and understand English is requiredPossess a valid driver's license and insured automobile is a plus but not required Right at Home's mission is simple ... to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
