As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), your responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering in-home programs to address patients' hearing, swallowing, and language challenges
  • Assessing patients' speech and language capabilities and conducting regular evaluations
  • Planning and implementing therapeutic services tailored to individual speech and language needs, employing various diagnostic techniques and materials
  • Documenting treatment types and patient responses in clinical/progress notes while maintaining comprehensive records, including summary reports
  • Training family members and caregivers in supportive methods to assist patients in enhancing, correcting, and embracing their disabilities

Qualifications for Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):

  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology/Speech Therapy required
  • Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in your state
  • Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
  • Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist (SLP) in a home health or similar setting
