Job ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end reconciliations of accounts and provides reasonable explanations and insightfulanalysis of the components of assigned accountsResponsible for preparing month-end Journal EntriesResponsible for processing daily cash receipts and maintaining banking/cash filesResponsible for submitting receiving reports & invoices in iRPT for customer deliveriesPrepare Cost Plus billings and ensure appropriate approvals have been received prior to submittalSupport Internal Audit Engagements & External Audit Engagements (DCMA)Review AR Aging and follow-up with customers for cash collectionsResponsible for daily Inventory Reconciliation and month-end Inventory reportingResponsible for maintaining Fixed Asset subsidiary ledgerPrepares sales/use tax analysis and submitting monthly Prepayments and Quarterly ReturnsPrepare and complete tax provisions including but not limited to 1099's, Property Tax, Income Tax, FixedAssets, Prepaids, IRADProvide support/back up for various departments including but not limited to Payroll, Sales OrderProcessing/InvoicingPrepare financial reports in FCC/EssbaseParticipate in invoicing/cash forecastingMay lead tasks or aspects of a task or project; provide guidance to less experienced staff membersRecommend improvements to accounting policies & proceduresOur Ideal Candidate Will HaveAdvanced Skills in ExcelCPA licenseDeltek Costpoint ExperienceQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting with 5+ years directly related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)The expected pay scale for this position is $86,196.00/year - $116,338.00/year. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly.
