Job Title: Heavy Assembler

Job Description

Work with 480-volt electrical components to wire the man lifts. Wire limit switches on the lifts per schematics. Run multi-conductor wire. Bend and fit conduit and encoders - will actually run all of the wiring for the product. Maintain daily production schedules to ensure completion target dates are achieved. Set up and operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders, and saws, as well as appropriate non-powered hand tools required to perform tasks. Drive and operate forklifts and boom lifts after receiving training and when authorized.

This is a fully on-site position in AMES, Iowa.
Work Environment

Candidate will work in the shop - about 20 people in the shop and will report to the foreman. Shift: 7-4 with OT - usually about 10 hours.
