We are searching for a passionate Agency Development Manager in the San Diego area. The Agency Development Manager is an independent insurance agent who leads and mentors other independent agents in delivering voluntary benefits that help employees navigate life's financial uncertainties with confidence. Responsibilities Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring other sales agents Identifying, interviewing, and recruiting new sales agents Providing hands-on field training and collaborative work experiences Facilitating sales meetings and training sessions Driving B2B employee benefits sales and managing client accounts Establishing strong connections with business owners, HR professionals, and key decision-makers Creating a dynamic, competitive, and team-oriented environment Cultivating and sustaining relationships with brokers Qualifications Experience in B2B sales Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead sales teams Background in insurance sales with an active Life & Accident/Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain) Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently while inspiring teams Compensation: As an Agency Development Manager, you have the potential to earn competitive commissions based on sales results, including renewal income, bonuses, and world-class trips. You may also choose to become a member of the Association of Insurance Professionals (AIP), which can provide access to exclusive perks, discounts, and benefits. This is an independent contractor opportunity in which you are in business for yourself but not by yourself. Any income range associated with this posting represents potential pre-tax earnings as a business owner in this role, not a guaranteed salary or guaranteed earnings.
