What You’ll Do

As Director of Operations, you will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations, from strategy and planning to execution and optimization. This high-impact role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Leadership: Lead the setup and management of our cGMP-compliant dietary supplement manufacturing facility, including gummies, capsules, and powders.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to meet production goals, ensure efficiency, and drive profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing team across production, maintenance, and quality functions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to FDA, GMP, and other applicable regulatory standards.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall production efficiency.
  • KPI Development: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Partner with leadership, formulation, and quality teams to align manufacturing with product development and business objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee equipment installation, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure seamless operations.
What You Bring

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on dietary supplements or related industries (nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or food).
  • Proven expertise in cGMP-compliant manufacturing environments, including familiarity with FDA regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of motivating and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes for supplements, including gummies, capsules, and powders.
  • Experience developing and implementing KPIs to drive operational success.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve production challenges, ensuring on-time and high-quality output.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
