Construction Superintendent

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee multifamily ground-up projects from groundbreaking to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multifamily construction, managing site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage on-site construction activities for multifamily ground-up projects.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the project team, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
• Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project updates and address potential issues.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Oversee quality control procedures and conduct site inspections to maintain project integrity.
• Resolve any issues that arise during construction efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily reports and site logs.
• Foster a positive work environment and uphold a culture of safety on the job site.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily ground-up construction.
• Strong understanding of multifamily building systems, construction techniques, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• OSHA certification (preferred).
