We are a team of consultants, engineers, designers, and construction professionals dedicated to life safety and fire protection in the built environment. Job Description This role is specifically within the SLS division of SOCOTEC. We seek curious, dependable, and proactive learners focused on continuous improvement to join our team. Associates will work with Senior Fire Protection Engineers to design and develop Life Safety and Fire Protection systems, developing skills in areas of interest. Projects focus on adherence to quality standards through plan reviews and technical reports, including but not limited to egress design, code research, smoke control system design, fire‑resistant construction analysis, performance‑based design, fire sprinkler design, and hazardous material analysis. Associates are expected to have strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills to effectively support team efficiency, be detail‑oriented and possess superior problem‑solving skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture disciplines required. 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection and Life Safety. Engineering in Training (EIT) Certification preferred. Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Suite encouraged. Experience with CONTAM, Pyrosim, FDS, and/or PathFinder desirable. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, teamwork, and written communication skills. Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
