What Does a Dishwasher Do?
  • Ensures kitchen and restaurant have necessary clean items including plates, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
  • Prepares daily food items as assigned
  • Maintains a clean, safe and organized kitchen and dish area
  • Assists with prepping food items for specials
  • Follows recipes, procedures, and presentation guidelines as set by management
  • Restocks items as needed
  • Launders necessary items as assigned
  • Additional duties as required
  • Other tasks as assigned
What Does It Take to Be Successful as a Dishwasher?
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2+ years' experience in the restaurant/food and beverage or related industry preferred
  • Food handling and general knowledge of basic cooking skills
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight frequently
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Sense of urgency and willingness to assist team members as needed
  • Results-oriented with the ability to serve customers with humility and be a steward of Nation's Best's values
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills


Ideal candidates will have availability to work the hours listed below and the flexibility to occasionally accommodate overtime or adjust their schedule based on business needs.

Monday - Friday: 7am to 3pm
Saturday: 7am to 2:30pm
