Position Details:

  • Will work 3x12s Sunday-Tuesday 7a-730p.
  • Holidays if they fall on the scheduled shift.
  • On-call requirement: No
  • Floating between Main, ART, SJCH (Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital) may be required.
  • Required/Preferred Years of experience: 1 year (preferably) or 6 months level 1 trauma
  • Certs required: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT)
  • Experience required: Siemens Experience and Trauma 1 Experience
  • Radiation Badge requirement: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency.
  • Misc. Radius rule: Yes, 60 miles.
  • Locals accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
  • Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start
  • RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

**Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or existing assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.**

Job Title: CT Technologist

The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media as required.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • 1 year (preferably) or 6 months level 1 trauma experience.
  • BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications.
  • Siemens Experience and Trauma 1 Experience.
  • Radiation badge provided by agency.
