The National/Alamo brand has an exciting opportunity for a Return Agent located at 7240 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97218 (Portland International Airport – PDX). The position pays $19 per hour plus bonus opportunities. Benefits Paid time off Employee rental car discounts Retirement savings plan including 401(k) with matching profit sharing Health insurance Life insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Training and development Schedule Shift 1: 7 am–3:30 pm – Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat Shift 2: 1:30 pm–10 pm – Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat Shift 3: 12 pm–8:30 pm – Sun, Mon | 1:30 pm–10 pm – Tue, Wed | 12 pm–8:30 pm – Thu Shift 4: 7 am–3:30 pm – Tue, Wed | 10 am–6:30 pm – Thu, Fri, Sat Shift 5: 12 pm–8:30 pm – Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat Responsibilities Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue as they arrive on the lot. Remind customers to check for personal belongings; identify any items found in the vehicle with a unit number, date, time and turn into lost and found. Advise and review rental charges; provide an accurate receipt to the customer. Provide information regarding transportation to the airport terminal. Thank customers using the prescribed dialogue. Inquire about service satisfaction and document dissatisfaction. Check incoming vehicles discreetly for damage and direct customer to counter for completion of damage/loss report. Determine if vehicle is being returned with a full tank of gas. Complete a service alert for any mechanical and/or body damage communicated by the customers. Verify movement of vehicles on system hold for turnback, time or mileage, recall, or any other special lock to the proper lot location. Verify movement of vehicles flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance to the proper lot location. Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow. Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting. Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality. Minimum of 6 months of prior customer service, retail or administrative support experience. Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years. No drug or alcohol related event on driving record in the past 3 years (DUI, DWI). Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to work at least one of the following shifts (list from schedule).
