About the Role

The Director of Rehab/PTA is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation services within a (SNF) healthcare facility. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality physical therapy and rehabilitation care that meets regulatory standards and enhances patient outcomes. The Director will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment. They will also manage operational aspects including budgeting, staffing, and compliance with healthcare laws and accreditation requirements.

Ultimately, the Director of Rehab/PTA drives strategic initiatives to improve service efficiency, patient satisfaction, and clinical excellence in rehabilitation programs. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful rehabilitation programs Commitment to continuous professional development Experience with budget management and financial oversight Proven ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Certification in a relevant area of rehabilitation Bachelor's degree in physical therapy Current state PTA licensure in the relevant field of practice
