The Director of Centralized Revenue Cycle is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial and personnel activities of the Centralized Revenue Cycle teams, including but not limited to oversight of claims, payments, credit balance, insurance reimbursement, and self-pay management. The Director of Centralized Revenue Cycle will leverage business acumen to provide strategic guidance to a centralized billing office, orchestrating all billing operations and applications while furnishing critical data for strategic initiatives

Process Focused

  • Actively seeks out and implements process improvement opportunities while placing high emphasis on maintaining an efficient and effective billing model that can sustain or improve financial performance within an evolving landscape.
  • Monitors denial trends and ensures that denied claims are appealed on a timely basis.
  • Performs collectability analyses for aged accounts with the ability to execute multilevel collaborative solutions to goal
Goal Driven
  • Manages all functions of the organization's billing and revenue cycle to maximize cash flow while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of best RCM practices in daily operations and determining benchmarks and KPIs for the RCM team and assures that all RCM teams are performing at or above expectations.
  • Identifies trends, both positive and negative, that are impacting the success of the RCM function and offers solutions to remedy as applicable.
  • Provides weekly and monthly reporting on RCM KPIs and related performance against goals.
Compliance Attentive
  • Develops and maintains company revenue cycle policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Monitors effectiveness of billing and collection activity and ensures they are within contracted standards.
Leadership
  • Manage and maintain staffing levels within the Billing Department, including hiring, training, and retention of insurance and patient account specialists.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and demonstrate an ability to motivate staff to achieve excellence, reach goals and objectives, and offer professional development.
Collaborative
  • Collaboration across various departments and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, underpinned by a steadfast commitment to industry standards and the optimization of revenue cycle processes.
  • Manages relationship and monitors performance of revenue cycle vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with Director of Payor Contracting and Director of Revenue Cycle Support to ensure billing practices are in line with government and payer regulations.
  • Perform other necessary duties as required by the organization.
