Job Title: Painter QCJob DescriptionPosition: Painter Quality Control SpecialistAs a Painter Quality Control Specialist, you will be essential in ensuring the high-quality finish of ambulances. Your primary responsibility will be to use a spray gun to apply paint to the vehicles, ensuring a smooth, even coat that meets our stringent quality standards.Shift and Pay:First and Second shiftAt least $20/hr could be a little higher depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:Painting:Use a spray gun to apply paint to ambulances, following specific guidelines and techniques to achieve a uniform finish.Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired shade and consistency.Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.Quality Control:Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as runs, sags, and unpainted areas.Measure paint thickness and ensure it meets the required specifications.Conduct final inspections to ensure the paint job meets all quality standards before the vehicle is released.Maintenance:Maintain and clean painting equipment, including spray guns and booths, to ensure optimal performance.Keep accurate records of paint usage and inventory.Safety:Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to regulations.Collaboration:Work closely with other team members, including production and quality assurance teams, to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality output.Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.Qualifications:Proven experience as a painter, preferably in an automotive or industrial setting.Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.Familiarity with spray painting equipment and techniques.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to painting and hazardous materials.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.Why Work Here?Join a team dedicated to producing high-quality work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
