  • Schedule: Monday - Friday / 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Pay: $17.87
  • Temp to Hire 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and productive working environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Inspect and ensure the safe use and disposition of production fixtures, chains and hooks.
  • Pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking.
  • Hand wire small to medium-sized parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing.
  • Loads and unloads racks and fixtures to maximize weight without compromising quality.
  • Using files, grinders and/or wire brushes, removes icicles, etc. so material meets specification.
  • Follows all recycling procedures i.e. recycling of zinc from rack, aluminum, spray cans, wire and dunnage.
  • Forklift experience up 18,000lb capacity.
  • All other duties as determined by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF EVERY CANDIDATE:
  • The physical ability to stand and walk duration of shift
  • Must accept cross-training for multiple positions
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • The ability to work over ten hours a week in overtime when required for business needs
  • The ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues
  • Must follow safety rules and report all accidents and near misses to management.
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent hand and eye coordination with 20/20 corrected vision
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
  • A high school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six months of Material Handling experience.
