JOB SUMMARY FOR SERVICENOW DEVELOPER:

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer who specializes in developing and maintaining Service Catalogs within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development and configuration, with a focus on designing intuitive and user-friendly service catalogs to streamline service request processes.

Pay Range: $70- $75/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SERVICENOW DEVELOPER:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Service Catalog items and workflows within the ServiceNow platform.

Design, develop, and customize Service Catalog items, including catalog UI policies, catalog client scripts, and catalog item workflows.

Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules related to Service Catalog Management, including Catalog Items, Record Producers, Order Guides, and Variables.

Work closely with other ServiceNow Platform team members to integrate Service Catalog items with other ServiceNow modules, such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Asset Management.

Conduct thorough testing and validation of Service Catalog items to ensure functionality, usability, and adherence to business requirements.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Service Catalog-related issues and enhancements.

Stay informed about ServiceNow platform updates, best practices, and industry trends related to Service Catalog Management.

Document technical designs, configurations, and processes related to Service Catalog development and maintenance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SERVICENOW DEVELOPER:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

At least 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on Service Catalog Management.

Experience configuring Service Catalog items, including catalog UI policies, client scripts, variables, and workflows.

Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development, including experience with App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scripting languages (JavaScript, Web services, HTML, CSS, Glide APIs).

Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and frameworks, such as ITIL.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

ServiceNow certification(s) related to App Development and Service Catalog Management (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist - Service Catalog).

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR SERVICENOW DEVELOPER:

Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub and Flow Designer for automation and orchestration.

Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Portal development for creating custom user interfaces.

Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting for tracking Service Catalog performance metrics.

Familiarity with ServiceNow Service Management Suite applications (e.g., Incident Management, Change Management, Request Management).
