**Job Description**

**AECOM Hunt** is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Boston, MA.

This position is expected to begin in _September 2024._

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.

+ Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.

+ Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

+ Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

+ Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelors Degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.

+ Candidates must have completed two years of study in their program.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience in managing project tasks to completion

+ Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts

+ Demonstrated leadership abilities.

+ Willing to work a variety of tasks alone or as part of a team.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Additional Information**

+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

+ Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

+ Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $20.00/hour - $28.00/hour.
