The ideal candidate will have experience in a previous role, a strong accounting background, and will get along well with the rest of the team.The CFO role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.CFO MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain financial reporting systems including general ledger administration, preparation of financial statements and supervision of accounts payable and cash receipts functions.Prepare financial forecasts including commission income and cash flow.Ensure accuracy of commission income calculations in accordance with contractual terms and subsequent timely collection of amounts due company.Write, implement and maintain company policies for both financial and operational applications.Oversight of monthly employee expense reporting ensuring compliance with company policies.Manage and/or perform Human Resources responsibilities including administration of benefits package components, recruiting new employees, administration of new and terminating employees, and compliance with regulations.Administration of payroll for all employees including employees in Germany and Mexico.Evaluate and recommend employee benefits package options including medical, dental, and life insurance options.Administer Company’s 401(k) plan including meeting periodically with Investment Advisor, managing plan’s service provider, ensuring required government filings are completed timely and communicating with employees as necessary.Calculation and communication of Formula Bonuses earned by sales personnel.Ensure financial reporting complies with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Coordinate with outside CPA for preparation of tax returns and compliance with regulations.Maintain relationships with bankers and utilize bank resources for the completion of routine and non-recurring transactions.Evaluate and recommend company insurance coverages including workers’ compensation, property, auto, and general liability insurance.Supervise activities of Bookkeeper.Act as financial resource for Owner.Administration of a variety of general office operations.Perform additional responsibilities, as assigned.CFO EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelors Degree in Accounting required.Minimum 5 years accounting experience.Automotive industry knowledge preferred.CFO REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIESStrong PC skills including excellent knowledge of Excel and knowledge of accounting software programs, preferably Sage.History should demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills as well as business decision-making and presentation ability.Self-starter, independently motivated.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.Exposure to manufacturing preferred.----------------------UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
