Hi Physical Therapists

Are you looking for a new school position with a great company? Come join us at Ampersand Ampersand Therapy is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full time, in person position working with school age students.

_*Responsibilities:*_
* Evaluate student motor and sensory skills to determine eligibility for special education services using standardized assessment instruments.
* Evaluate motor (gross and adaptive) and sensory development to determine appropriate type and amount of physical therapy services required to insure reasonable educational progress.
* Instruct, train, and monitor classroom staff and parents in the implementation of appropriate motor activities, accommodations, and modifications.
* Design and fabricate adaptive devices and equipment to enhance independence in the educational setting.
* Team with other personnel and agencies to provide coordinated and effective services.
* Monitor and evaluate therapy programs using observation, data and/or pre-post testing.

- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Pay: $48.00 - $58.00 per hour
