**Description**

The Production Line Worker/ Machine operator is responsible for sorting materials for filling and using a pneumatic or electric filling machine fills bulk (shampoo, conditioners etc) into specific packaging at a pre-measured fill weight. Monitor machine operations and either adjusts machines for efficient filling or reports malfunctions for repairs in a timely manner.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Responsible for operating filling machines

* Responsible for operation of Tube Filler

* Responsible for maintaining all equipment used in filling department

* Responsible for keeping equipment and area sanitized

* Responsible for carry out set up, troubleshooting and inspection of machinery

* Responsible for reporting any defective equipment

* Responsible for following standardized work practices and monitor production equipment

* Responsible for documenting all filling completion in filling log

* Responsible for checking product to ensure quality standards are met

* Responsible for following established safety rules and regulations

* Responsible for fully understanding goals to be accomplished

* Responsible for housekeeping of production lines, safe and clean workspace

* Other duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS:**

* HS Diploma or GED required

* Must be able to operate Tube Filler.

* Must be team oriented and self-directed

* Must be familiar with machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting

* Must be able to effectively communicate in English; verbal and written form

* Must be able to lift a maximum up to 50 lbs.

* Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

* Must possess oral and written communication skills

* Must be committed to quality, safety and communication

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.

* Must be able to work overtime and some weekends

* Bilingual English / Spanish highly desired
