OverviewAmeriCorps members will assist qualifying individuals find and retain appropriate housing, find the resources to support the use of appropriate housing, and assist individuals in accessing the appropriate housing in through out the Central Coast. AmeriCorps members will work with qualified individuals to assist them in supportive services, such as attending medical appointments and applying for public benefits, with an end goal of attaining housing. AmeriCorps members will also recruit one-time and ongoing volunteers to assist with service activities and to participate in Day of Service events.Member DutiesMembers will perform key activities necessary to assist veterans in accessing services, acquiring/retaining housing, and becoming more self-sufficient.
