Payroll Specialist Required – 1 day in the EXL Jersey City office. Compensation – $55,000 - $65,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits. We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Payroll Representative to join our Global lawe. The role is responsible for accurate and timely end‑to‑end payroll processing for employees across the U.S., Canada, and Ireland, ensuring compliance with all applicable payroll regulations and taxation requirements. The position requires a strong understanding of multi‑state and international payroll complexities and the ability to identify and resolve exceptions and escalations. Key Responsibilities Process bi‑weekly/semi‑monthly payrolls for a multi‑state employee population in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of wages, taxes, deductions Support payroll audits, year‑end processing (W‑2s), and regulatory reporting Manage payroll inquiries through the ticketing system, ensuring responses are completed in accordance with established SLAs Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits to ensure data accuracy and process alignment Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively as part of a cross‑functional team Self‑motivated and able to manage priorities and work independently with minimal supervision Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field Minimum of 5+ years of payroll processing experience, including multi‑state payroll Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Dayforce, ADP, Paychex) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Excel – MS Suite Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet demanding deadlines High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Accounting/Auditing and Administrative Industries Business Consulting and Services Benefits Medical insurance, Vision insurance, 401(k), Paid maternity leave #J-18808-Ljbffr
