Job Title Tax Accountant (public accounting) Compensation DOE 70K-150K plus incentives Location Monmouth County Work Arrangement Hybrid – WFH 3/4 days per week. Summers – 4 day work week. Top candidates with exceptional communication skills and client service-oriented professionalism will be considered. Responsibilities Preparation and review of tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary) Build long term relationships with clients, assisting them with tax needs as well as business advising Involvement with all aspects of professional service from the intake, client meetings, preparation, and engagement management Conduct research on various tax issues Requirements Education: BS/BA accounting; CPA designation or eligibility to sit for the exam 3 to 15 years of current tax accounting experience in a public accounting arena Excellent analytical, technical skills including knowledge in US GAAP Extraordinary client service and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships Strong leadership, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills Strong research skills Technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; Tax software experience such as Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RIA #J-18808-Ljbffr
