Job Summary A Senior Electrical Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Portland, OR area. The role requires 3D modeling/drafting experience (AutoCAD/Revit) to design electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm) for high‑tech facilities (semiconductor/data centers), with responsibilities for design package delivery, mentoring, and scheduling. Location: Portland, OregonJob Type: ContractSalary: $46.76 - $56.25 per hourWork Hours: 8am to 5pmEducation: Associates Responsibilities Work on projects enabling clients' core business, including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities. Perform computer‑aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files. Responsible for delivery of complex design packages in coordination with engineers and design leads. Develop staffing plans based on project deliverables and schedule. Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Mentor subordinates and provide guidance to less experienced designer/drafters. Skills\ Proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design requirements. Education and Experience High school graduate or equivalent. At least 8 years of relevant experience in design utilizing 3‑D modeling/drafting. At least 1 year of Revit Design Experience. Preferred Qualifications Two‑year Associate's Degree in relevant field. 3 years of semiconductor experience.
