Job Responsibilities: Work safely utilizing proper protective equipment and following all safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Produce parts for assembly operations that require horizontal milled featuresSafely perform loading and unloading of material. Change tools and select required machine programs that ensure the quality and productivity.Follow all manufacturing inventory control procedures and additional paperwork as required.Learn other appropriate manufacturing job functions and serve as back up in other areas when required.Assist with machine preventive maintenance using proper lock out/tag out procedures as required.Meet or exceed productivity per company standards and document downtime and up-time data as required.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor when needed.Be able to work Mon- Fri 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM. Qualifications: 2-5 years' experience on a CNC horizontal mill or similar machine in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Elumatec and/or Emmegi is a plus. Basic understanding of G-Code CNC programmingExperience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement manufacturing environment is a plus.Ability to accurately use and read tape measure, calipers and others as required.Ability to read drawings and blueprints.Attention to detail and when in doubt "Stop & Ask".Must pass background check as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen.
