Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re in need of a Special Education Teacher to work in a school located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Special Education Teacher Contract Details:
- $38 - $41 an hour
- Special Education Teacher
- Schedule: Full-time. 33.75 hours per week for the 2024-2025 school year
- Start Date: August 2025
- End Date: May 2025 with the option to extend
- Location: In-person and virtual/remote options
- Details: Mild/Moderate Cross-Categorical. Will consider full-time and part-time candidates. Very collaborative team and mentor provided.
- Bonus: $3,000 Assignment Bonus for new full-time SHC employees
- Multicategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications will be accepted
Possible program/caseload info:
- Special education teacher needs in elementary, middle, high, and alternative schools throughout the district.
- Could be a combination of co-teach and pull-out services
- Could be low incidence/autism self-contained classroom
- Could be a behavior support specialist

Requirements:
- Missouri Special Education Teacher Certification
- Multicategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications will be accepted
